WHO WE ARE
June 2024 Keeseville was granted a construction permit from the FCC to build a low-power FM station. Low-power FM means our radius keeps us hyper-local. We know there’s a wealth of talent in our area and this radio station will be an invaluable resource for the community to share that talent with each other and have a fun way to express themselves. Get your local news, hear new or nostalgic songs, and get connected to your local community. No advertisements, ever. 100% community-funded, 100% community-led
WHAT WE’RE ABOUT
We’re building a community-run and -supported hyper-local radio station. We secured a frequency via the FCC and have 3 years to start broadcasting. 100.5 FM is ours to create a whole world onto. This can be a community resource, a creative endeavor, an archive of everything that makes this area special. Our frequency only reaches from Keeseville to Peru. But, the stream will be available wherever you have internet access. Donate to help buy broadcasting equipment and tell your friends what we’re doing here. If you’ve got a show idea or want to get involved in some other way….
REAL LOCAL HAPPENINGS
Find out what’s happening in and around town. Like boil water orders, traffic reports, or weather activity from town officials, farmers, and your next door neighbor.
HIGHLIGHTING LOCAL TALENT
Have you been playing cello for 15 years? Maybe your neighbor is a poet. Imagine hearing live performances from local musicians, storytellers, and artists of all kinds right through your radio.
SONICALLY WOVEN COMMUNITY
Finally, a way to enjoy music and engaging stories together. Yes, we may have different tastes but all of that together makes up our little town. A radio station for all of us to enjoy together.
